    (1920-35) - built by Jim Burde(sp?) and Roy Elford for trapping and hunting at Wild Deer Lake. One of three cabins, the other two were destroyed. 1958 - moved Deerholme, repaired roof and hand rails. 1964 - moved to BC Forest Museum Clarence "Poke" & James Burde inscribed on inside wall.

The cabin has a Glenore & Western Railway sign on its wall The photo is by Irving Strickland of the Victoria Times. Most likely the "Lily of the Valley," a trapping and hunting cabin built by Tim Burde and Roy Elford.
