    Memorial bench erected on the lower grounds of the museum. It says: "To the pioneer Lumbermen of Cowichan Valley. We laboured in the forest We dwell in the woods Safely & blessed Ezekiel" Erected by Prevost Post #10, Native Sons of BC in 1968. The bench was later restored in 2010.
