Saddletank No.1055 and No. 1077 stationary on the tracks. Photographs also depicts railway sidings. No. 1055 is a 90 tonne locomotive and was the main line engine on MacMillan Bloedel's Nanaimo Lakes operation. It is a 2-8-2 (Mikado) type locomotive. It was built by Baldwin Locomotive Works. No.1077 is a 90 tonne locomotive was built by Montreal Locomotive Works in 1923 and was used for logging. It is a 2-6-2 (Prairie) type locomotive. |
