Hereditary Chief of the Pacheedaht (People of the Seafoam), Queesto, Chief Charlie Jones carved this sign for the BCFP. This sign is now part of the BC Forest Discovery Centre's collection. It is numbered 2021.900.002 and hangs in the service yard area. |

Part of the Skene Digital Collection and Bob McMillend Collection. In 1936, Malahat Logging began working in Bear Creek Valley, which resulted in a sizeable community in Port Renfrew. The operation was bought by BC Forest Products in 1946. |
