Description |
1970-91 housed the "Tree Room" consisting of numerous displays (see file). Renamed the Glynne Jones Building in 1992 in hounour of his contributions. Source: Catalogue Information on Major Artifacts at the BC Forest Museum, C8. Moved to Museum in 1970 from Deerholme, former Wellburn Timbers office. Glynne Jones (1918-92) was a member of the Cowichan Valley Hoo Hoo Club. Jones worked for MacMillan Bloedel Ltd., and was a Director for the BC Forest Museum. |
