The 4 Spot, later re-numbered 1044, at Copper Canyon. Note the wooden bridge. Picture taken 1942, and the railroad was abandoned in 1953. Locomotive pictured burned oil but originally used coal. In 1955, it was working at Chemainus Switching Mill & Yards. Locomotive was built by H.K. Porter Company, Pittsburgh in 1924. Information by R.C. Swanson, Chief Inspector of Railways.
