(1894 - 1902) - purchased by the Victoria Lumber & Manufacturing for it's Chemainus (Camp 2) logging operation. Manufactured by Marschutz & Cantrell (National Iron Works) San Francisco, Cal. (1959) - collected by Gerry Wellburn. 1959 - 61 - initial restoration by Robert Sanderson (Duncan Iron Works). 1964 - donated to BC Forest Discovery Centre by G. Wellburn (1964.001.014). 1971 - Chemainus sawmill, new bearings, steam pipes and sled. 1975 to (1979) - BC Provincial Museum loan - Museum Train. 1983 - Chemainus Festival of Murals, loan. 2020 - painted. |
