It is a massive steam-powered machine with two boilers harnessed to sophisticated overhead cable logging systems.     Logs being collected by a series of overhead cables. On the right is a modified crane (cherry picker) mounted on a flatcar. The cherry picker would reel the logs into place and special tongs were used to place the logs on a flatcar. A "V" with a diamond shaped background is visible on the machine's side, indicating it belonged to Victoria Lumber and Manufacturing Company.

    Single postcard mailed on July 13, 1965 from Chemainus to Hope, BC. The postcard is a picture of the Crofton Pulp Mill Site. Includes writing on the back with the letter continuing onto the front with writing on the photograph of the Crofton Pulp Mill Site.
