Logs being collected by a series of overhead cables. On the right is a modified crane (cherry picker) mounted on a flatcar. The cherry picker would reel the logs into place and special tongs were used to place the logs on a flatcar. A "V" with a diamond shaped background is visible on the machine's side, indicating it belonged to Victoria Lumber and Manufacturing Company.
