The Copper Canyon Camp was built c. 1944 by the Victoria Lumber & Manufacturing Company. HR MacMillan Export Company purchased Victoria Lumber & Manufacturing Company in 1946. At its peak in the late 1940's, there would be around 200 men working in the camp. The Copper Canyon railway was abandoned in 1955. |
